My Subject to Change Itinerary
Although I have an idea where I want to go, plans always seem to change midstream. Therefore, this itinerary was created while I was still in New York and may not hold true. The only definites I do have are that friends and family are coming to visit at certain times in predetermined places.
| Country | Month/Date | Details |
| 1. Ecuador | August and September |
During the month of August I will be staying with an Ecuadorian
family in Quito and taking 4 hours of Spanish classes a day, five days
a week. My friend Wendy, who has travelled all over the world with me,
is arriving in Quito on or around September 1. We will travel around Ecuador
for about two weeks. After she leaves, I may go to the Galapagos if I
have saved enough money. (It is extremely expensive!)

| 2. Northern Peru and Bolivia | October and November |
At the end of November, another long-time friend and travel

"Once you have looked into the eyes of people in a foreign country, you realize you all want the same thing: food on your table, healthy children, laughter, freedom to be. The religion, the ideology, and the government may be different, but the dreams are all the same"
Erma Bombeck
"Humor is the traveler's first line of defense. Travel without humor is like sex without love. You can do it, but what's the point, really? Whenever I meet anyone who is serious about taking a trip - that is, someone who has an itinerary and thinks he knows where he or she is going and what to expect - that is when I really have to laugh!"
